The Band of The Parachute Regiment celebrated it's 50th Anniversary in 1997 and this
site was inspired by that event. Unfortunately, today, there is just the one Band - the 3
Battalion bands were cut back a few years ago to form 2 and subsequently, there is now
only one.
I was a member of the 3rd Battalion Band from January 1974 until October 1979, serving in
Aldershot & Osnabruck, West Germany.
If any one reading this is a former member of any of the Parachute Regiment Bands, perhaps you could make contact.
This site is intended to act as a history of the bands with contributions
from former members and also to act as a central email directory of ex members on the net.
